We found these guys through TripAdvisor, and I can attest that the great reviews were spot on. We had such a great day with Fabian and Raul! They are the only catamaran on the beach so they are easy to find.

We went out for a 3-4 hour trip with them. It was a perfect day for sailing. We snorkeled on the reef for about 30-45 minutes, which was great. Completely away from the tour groups and crowds. The rest of the time was spent going up and down the coast line past the ruins and back. Again, perfect day, and I would highly reccommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing day on the water away from the crowds.

Thanks again, Fabian and Raul!!!

I was looking for a sailing trip that both my mother and I could enjoy. Sailing with Fabian and Raul was the right choice for us!
From the start, it was easy to communicate with Fabian via e-mail. On the day of the excursion, we travelled to Tulum and Fabian and Raul were waiting for us on the beach by the catamaran. They helped us aboard and soon we were sailing south along the coast on a private excursion! We sailed from 3:30 PM until almost 7:00 PM, stopping to snorkel and also sailing very close to the Tulum ruins.
The snorkeling was excellent! We stopped at a reef where we saw schools of fish, and angelfish and there was no one else around! I'm not sure how long we stopped for, but we snorkeled for as long as I wanted!
Fabian and Raul were so friendly, it was like we were sailing with friends. They offered us soda, water, beer, and nuts and also took pics with our cameras. We chatted a lot but there were also times when we sat quietly and just enjoyed the experience. If I ever return to the Mayan Riviera, I will definately be booking another sailing trip with Tulum Sailing Vientos!

This was by far the highlight of our team trip to Tulum last week! 7 of us went out for 3 hours. Fabian was an extremely wonderful guide - he supported us in setting up transportation to and from our hotel, greeted us at the exact time and exact location we set up to meet and the trip itself was amazing beyond words.

Raul guided us snorkeling - we saw incredible sea life, we sailed through the turquoise waters of Tulum saw the Tulum ruins from the water and had time to sunbath and relax. Fabian was wonderful at accommodating our needs (stopping when we needed to pee), resting and letting us jump in the water, took group photos for us and helped us load and unload all of our things on the boat.

This was by far the most affordable rate we found and such an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Fabian. I am excited to come back in the future and share this with my family and loved ones. :)

We booked a half-day private charter on a catamaran with Tulum over Spring Break. This was the best decision we made. There is a constant breeze in the area . . . and that made for perfect sailing conditions. We went to Pescadores beach at 10:00 a.m. and spotted the catamaran waiting for us. Captain Fabian and deckhand Raul helped us get our things onboard (no dock--we waded in with stuff overhead) and then we sailed along the beach past the famous Mayan ruins. The views of the Tulum ruins from the sea are the views you see on the postcards . . . . amazing. Bring your camera! Drinks (beer, water, soft drinks) are provided. There is a small toilet onboard. We asked ahead of time to provide fins for snorkeling so we didn't have to carry those with us. Definitely bring a camera, but more importantly, bring the 50 SPF sunblock and put it on your face, shoulders, knees and tops of your feet. Wear shoes that will stay on when you wade into the water to board. When beach access from the ruins is closed, or there's a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach, a booking with Vientos Tulum is the way to go. Get together with 4 to 6 friends and go sail away!

These guys are just wonderful. The boat is very well taken care of and they are excellent hosts. You get a nice view of the ruins from the boat. Unfortunately, it's windy in the area and the seas can be rough - if you plan to bring your kids, just know this. We had a seasick kiddo - Fabian couldn't have been more awesome about the whole thing, but we ended up heading to shore early. Still had a total blast!
