Description: At Simple we know and respect each ingredient we use, that’s why our menu turns out to be original, simple, and unique. In it we gather the taste of the Pacific, preparing grilled and roasted fish, seafood and vegetables; meat and poultry, cooked in their own juices with the preparation of your choice. We offer portions by the weight designed to be shared (we also offer individual portions), as well as natural and buzzing beverages, in the middle of a cozy atmosphere where you will feel treated just like home. Simple is a family-owned and family-operated restaurant where you will find trust, kindness, happiness, party, music and dancing.

Its a real treat to walk into a restaurant and actually see the dinner fare. Big pieces of fresh fish and seafood displayed over large slabs of ice make you feel as though you are at a fish market. Everything is sold by weight at the daily market price (advertised on the chalboard). You choose the fish, how much you want, and how it is prepared - SIMPLE!
A wide variety of cerviches and cocktails.Treat yourself to grilled Caribbean lobster - you'll be hard pressed to find it fresher or tastier anywhere.

Servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient.

Our dinner started with complimentary Sopes, and ended with some phenomenal live music!

A great place for couples or out with friends. Perfect lighting creates a warm atmosphere.

Oh!! and don't forget to visit them for lunch too. There is a taco grill and bar open in the afternoon for that perfect lunch, snack, or just an excuse to get out of the midday sun. Cochinita Pibil and Fish tacos are exceptionally tasty!!

Don't let this place pass you by while you're in Tulum.

We stumbled on Simple rather serendipitously. Lovely open air restaurant. I don't think we even look at a menu, we just went to the seafood counter and was recommended things that were all absolutely delicious and wonderfully cooked.
If the lovely Phillipo with the beautiful eyes is still there and serving you, just take whatever he suggests! We had shark carpaccio for the first time, butterfish for main and for pudding he suggested their fabulous Key Lime Pie Martini and Marzipan Martini (we had both) - sooooo good!
One of our favourite restaurants in Tulum.

An immediate good impression was created when on entering, we saw whole fresh fish laid out in a chill cabinet. We chose a whole red snapper between us. This was cooked beautifully, not overdone with a simple plate of grilled vegetables on the side. The owner Richie, and attentive staff helped make our evening enjoyable while the Monday evening band, Mogo Mogo, were so fab that we simply had to return the following Monday to hear them again!

We have been to Tulum many times, but this trip was somewhat of a disappointment- the traffic on the road, the crowds on the beach- tulum has changed. We had decent meals a few places but the prices are really high. Simple was refreshing- super nice wait staff, delicious food, reasonable prices- accommodating to our family including 3 kids. I recommend it!

I didn't realize sea food could taste this good. It was almost insulting to all the sea food I have eaten prior. For apps we got the tuna tartar tostadas. They were incredible, tuna tartar with something like caramelized onions and fig drizzled with what tasted like chipotle alioli. So good. For dinner we ordered the butter fish and the prawns in garlic. The butterfish was charred perfectly on the outside and then was oh so juicy on the inside. It was surreal. The prawns literally tasted like lobster, they had so much flavor and melted in your mouth.

Service was super quick, price point for quality was great!
