Owner description: Agua Clara Project was founded by local divers who are concerned about the best way of sharing the exceptional natural environment of the area with visitors from around the world. It comprises a group of passionate local ecotourism experts who have the mission of exploring, photographing and transmitting their admiration by using innovating and sustainable activities. Ecotourism is not only a low-impact activity regarding the environment, but also an activity that can have a high impact on the individuals that have the privilege of visiting these places. We design personalized tours aimed mainly at providing an unforgettable experience and passing on information about our ecosystems. Once you appreciate nature, you can start caring about it...

My husband and I finished our open water certification here, and could not have been more pleased. The dives were beautiful, and our guide, Noe, was highly knowledgeable as well as one of the best people we've come across in our travels. We can't wait until our next dive. We would highly recommend Agua Clara to our friends.

Booked a tour to visit the ruins in Muyil and float a channel in the Sian Ka'an biosphere and was pleasantly surprised by the personal attention this group gives to visitors. Linda was an amazing tour guide, who is passionate about Mayan culture and nature and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a more intimate experience at a price point that is comparable to the larger outfitters.

Went to Tulum for a relaxing vacation with a friend, and the snorkel tour turned out to be the highlight of the trip. It was raining but we went out anyway and practically had some of the sites to ourselves. The rain brought out a lot of turtles which was really cool. Linda, our guide, was super passionate and knowledgable about the local culture and preservation of the ecosystems. We ended up learning a lot about the area. It was wonderful to have our own guide even though there were only two of us. She also hooked us up with some local street tacos which were amazing. We were out for most of the day. Well worth the $$.

My husband surprised me with an action packed day of adventure in Tulum through Agua Clara Diving. We visited several cenotes, went canoeing and zip lining as well as swimming and enjoyed an amazing traditional Mayan lunch!

Mercedes, our guide, was very knowledgeable. She taught us so much about the culture and history and was a pleasure to hang out with! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do something off the beaten path and have a great time!
