“Do not miss this gem”

I have eaten at this wonderful little place everyday since I have been in Tulum and my only regret is I will have to leave before I have tried everything on the menu.each dish is unique and flavorful with lovely presentation. Samantha and Roberto are great servers..nice very low key vibe. This place came highly recommended by some friend who also have a vegan restaurant in Merida and now I know why. You do not have to be vegan to enjoy this tasty, reasonably priced food.Enjoy!

“Good, but a little pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2014 via mobile

Went here with the family. It came out to $75 for dinner for 4 & three juice drinks. Welcome to restaurants on the beach! That being said, it was good food. Even our non-vegetarian kids likes it. Bring bug spray once the sun goes down as this is in the jungle setting.

“thoughtfully executed...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2014

started with a juice smoothie and a local Akumal beer...Akumal won

then came the tacos pibil...which had a great taste/texture and were super filling...they are served with two condiments: a spicy green sauce and and an uber-spicy dried red-pepper crumble...i loved both in combination and by themselves but was definitely sweating in the jungle with their addition

also had the coconut ceviche special...amazing...one of the best ceviche broths I have had...they should serve it at La Mar...

unpretentious place with high-quality vegan options...2 drinks w/tacos, ceviche and the banana bread dessert to go was something like 400 MXN ($30USD-ish w/tip)

p.s., bonus wack-o estadounidense waitress

“Very Good Overall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014

I am not a vegetarian, but often find myself trying the vegetarian dishes on offer if a restaurant has an imaginative menu. There is no doubt this is very good cooking, the Mayan Curry superb, the vegetable bake very good, the coconut ceviche also very good, but most of the accompanying chips were rock hard and a danger to teeth which took the edge off somewhat. The restaurant handles the jungle theme as well as any I have seen, it is lovely and the waitress I agree is the loveliest person you could ever meet, certainly worth a visit vegan or not.

“Almost worth the plane ticket to Mexico alone!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

You can almost miss this place as it's tucked away and the sign isn't very obvious. But make sure you don't! As a lot of others have said, you really don't have to be vegan to enjoy the food here. Everything is utterly delicious, including the juices. Definitely get the Tacos Pilbil. If there were a restaurant like this in London, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there everyday!
