“Great place to stay”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

Amazing setting in a good location. Beautifully designed authentic rooms. Good service and great pizza. Super friendly staff. Ideal laid back vibe, friendly atmosphere.
If you're high maintainance this is not the place for you. It's simple, very comfortable...
10 mins away from the beach and Tulum ruins...
Definitely place to stay...

If you don't mind staying a 20 min bike ride from the beach, this lovely little hotel is perfect! The owners were fantastic, and the rooms cozy and clean. The breakfast was the best I had while in Tulum....fresh homemade bread, fresh juices, marmalade, and delicious espresso! It's very quiet, and convenient to town and the beach, just rent a bike down the main highway about 1/2 mile from Pacha. For $30 a night with private bathroom and a/c, you can't go wrong!

We stopped in for breakfast before heading to the beach. $75 pesos for a full breakfast, juice and coffee.

Great service

Dining area is very comfortable and jungle like. Try it out!

It's right before downtown Tulum.

(We did not stay in the hotel.)

They cancelled my reservation and I showed them that the reservation was still active on Booking.com. They only had one room left and instead of a double bed, it was a double-deck beds. I asked for and got a discount of USD5.

Room was basic, the sink was not in the bathroom but at a corner of the room. The bedsheets didn't smell fresh. A few shelves and a stool, no hand towels.

Wifi was good maybe because my room was just infront of the reception. Good food, al dente pasta.

It is located at a busy junction and the noises from the big trucks were very audible in the room. Across the road was a big supermarket. About 10 minutes walk to the town centre of Tulum.

We stayed four days at this hotel which was booked from home. When we arrived and came into the room, there was was an awful smell from the drains - like REALLY bad. We tried to keep the extraction in the bathroom on, all night, even though it meant that the lights were on the entire night. But when waking up next morning, it was just as bad and it stayed like this throughout the whole stay. The room was also very dirty, both floors, shelves and windowsills. Furthermore there was mould on the pillows, so there were not to be used. At no times there were staff in the reception to ask for anything. The staff in the small restaurant were nice, but it was not clear how involved they were in the hotel part. Location was boring, and not recommendable.
