“Beautiful Beach”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

We were there on a very windy day....there is not much cover so sand was blowing everywhere. But it's a beautiful, long, white sand beach. Nice to get off the resort beach and experience this wide-open stretch of sand. the "real deal" with no wave breaks or other man-made alterations you get on the resort...

It's right next to Tulum ruins. (5 minute walk)

“Beautiful Beach”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

Beach & water is beautiful even on an over cast day.
Due to the sudden rain storm that blew in, we only stayed there about 2 hours.
There is a charge of about ten dollars per to rent a lounge chair, still if you are looking to spend part of your day there, it's worth it.
We plan to revisit on our next trip to the area in the Spring.

“amazing water”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

liked : clean, view, water color, kindness of staff
disliked : oblige to order to use 'amacas'. Many people for a beach in that zone. but it's the price to pay for this jewel

“BEST BEACH IN TULUM!”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

White sand, transparent warm water, not many people (except for those group of visitors coming from Cancun that just come to take a few of pictures) and a few bars/restaurants to drink a beer or enjoy some nachos by the sea... What else?

“Paradise ... if you don't notice the garbage”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

I love this beach. The water is warm inviting and the most amazing shades of blue. The vendors seemed friendly enough and never bothered us. Local fishermen offered to take people out to the reef for only a few dollars, best if you have your own gear for such a trip. My only complaint is the waste that was everywhere. Plastic in every size, shape and form was scattered along the trails to the beach, in the jungle and all along the shoreline.
If you go to Tulum for the day, bring a beach blanket and plenty of water and make the 10 minute walk south from the tulum ruins exit to the beach, you won't regret it.
