Absolutely loved staying at la zebra, truly stunning.
Its a laid back vibe, just how we like it. I was with my husband and 8 month old baby daughter for our friends wedding hosted by la zebra everything about the day was outstanding. we didn't want to leave.
We hope to return one day.

We have visited Tulum three times now and by far our visit to La Zebra was the best! We hosted our wedding and reception at La Zebra and our Welcome Fiesta at El Pez. We had all of our guests stay at La Zebra and we all loved everything from the rooms to the service to the food and the location. It is truly a wonderful place and we HIGHLY recommend it!

We stayed at LaZebra in the Master Suite on the ocean. The view is priceless, the bed was very comfortable, and while there was no AC, the ocean breeze and fans in the rooms was enough to keep us comfortable. The staff is superb and did their best to make our stay wonderful. They really look out for their guests and do the best to accommodate. The food if the restaurant was also great. We're sure to go back in the future!

This is our 3rd time in Tulum and we went for our wedding week. We love Le Zebra and although we didn't end up having our wedding at their facility, we did have many of our family and friends stay there and worked with them to plan excursions for our group.
Our requirements for the wedding didn't fit into the constraints of their package, so we ended up having the reception at a neighboring restaurant (which worked out beautifully, actually).
In any case, Le Zebra and their staff worked with us to ensure our guests had a great time and felt taken care of the whole time they were there.
They even helped us arrange a rather large group "field trip" to the Tulum ruins and Dos Ojos cenotes, which went very smoothly and made for some unforgettable moments!

Knowing that our guests that have never been to Tulum, much less Mexico or for some, even out of the country, were going to be taken care of and have a great experience was very comforting and let us relax and enjoy our wedding week!

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 7 month old last week in bungalow #4.
While the beach is amazing and the staff service stellar, I did have a couple minor issues with our stay. The bungalow's do not have AC and our ceiling fan barely circulated the air. #4 is on the beach but its set further down in the sand, facing the restaurant, not the beach, so you get no breeze from the ocean. I requested an additional fan and it took staff one day to deliver on that. It was hot and muggy in our room which didn't make for the best night's sleep. If you want beach front--- rent #1, 2, or 3---they face the ocean directly. On the plus side, the bed was very comfy. The bungalow is one room, with the bathroom in back separated by a shorter wall, so no privacy at all with the toilet. And finally we stayed there Saturday and Sunday night---if your traveling with kids who go to bed early, be warned---salsa night is from 7-11 Sunday on the beach---very close to the bungalows----and its LOUD!!! Our baby went to bed at 6pm. Shutting the doors and windows did nothing to keep the sound out.

Room Tip: If you want beach front--- rent #1, 2, or 3---they face the ocean directly--so you get a nice ocean...

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and are sorry about the wait on the fan. As mentioned in our website, all our rooms have fans but none are yet provided with a/c due to the electricity situation here in the beach area. All the hotels work with solar panels and generators, we do have screens on the windows so you are able to let the cool breeze refresh you. We have many guests who come to our hotel to enjoy our weekly salsa parties that we have been having for years, also mentioned in our website...usually most guests are aware of this party before they arrive but we are sorry about the inconvenience this might have caused.

The Best Beach we've ever seen.

Our Mexican tour took place in September 2010. Me & my husband travelled all over the contry, and in the end of our journey we needed to relax on the beach. That's why we stay at La Zebra.
Well, on our opinion, this hotel is really gorgeous and I'll explain why.
The main reason of our complacency is the location of La Zebra, especially the beach! It is absolutely fantastic! Endless strip of white sand, ultramarine water and waves — it's so relaxing. Territory isn't very big but it's nice and everything is done for saving nature's beauty of the place.
Accomodation is great: we stayed at Master Suite, a cabana located near the beach. It's fairly big, stylishly furnitured and really cute.
Restaurant worth visiting too: all meals we tried were delicious. And what about beverages... Well, we cannot forget their Margarita cocktail even two years after our trip.
To summarise it all I'd like to emphasize that this hotel is the best choice to stay at Tulum for total relax & romantic holidays, because atmosphere of this hotel is full of love and harmony.
We are absolutely sure that we'll try to visit La Zebra again because nothing can be better than lying on sunbed drinking Margarita and watching paradisiac scenery.

Room Tip: Master Suite is the best type of accomodation for pairs & families.

Spent time there for a friends wedding, I would love to go back and sway in the hammock, eat breakfast by the beach and wake up to the birds. Some nights they have dancing by the beach. The entrance is very vague and we were not sure where was the office but they greeted us inside and carried our luggage to our bungalow on their backs. Every morning there was orange juice behind our door. The white sand was pretty and our room was just steps to the beach. Wonderful.
