We stayed at Los Lirios in February/March 2009 for 14 nights. The hotel was ok, although I would say it is over-priced. We were 3 persons who shared the double deluxe beach front room which was very roomy and a had very nice view of beach. It also had a hammock at the porch which was nice. However, there was only sporadic warm water, so if you wanted to take a shower with a decent temperature you had to wait to about 6.30 in the evening which was a bit irritating.
Staff was quite nice, except one guy in the reception who was a bit unpleasant.
Breakfast was good, with alot to choose from (eggs, some Mexican dishes, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, juice, tea/coffee...). Although we never ate at the restaurant so I don't know how their other food is.
The location at the beach was very good, and there were alot of beach chairs which was nice.
I would also strongly recommend anyone traveling to Tulum to take a flashlight with them, it's pitch black at 6 in the evening!More
