We got sucked in by the sign advertising two cocktails for 65 pesos after we had great chicken two doors north at Pollo Bronco. The margaritas were very good. So we ordered two more and some desserts: a pannacotta and a tiramisu. Both were really amazingly good! We didn't get dinner but the dishes going to other peoples tables looked and smelled great.

Friendly service and really excellent pasta. My teens had steaks and said they were good also. This is authentic Italian cooking.

Delicious, fresh, tasty pasta with a tiny bit of bite to it! We will definitely be revisiting this place before we leave tulum!

Lots of little Italia joints in Tulum, but if you want the best pasta, cooked to perfection, come to trattoria romana. Place is owned, run and sometimes cooked by real Italian brothers (family). Great staff and tulum strip / cafe / restaurant dining. Once we found out about this place, we just kept coming back. Believe it or not lots of europeans in Tulum area and they gotta have their Italian. They don't make pizza just specialize in pastas (ravioli, spaghetti, penni, etc). For the price you pay in the states, the smiles and service and great pasta was a great value. Next time we are in Tulum, we are heading here.
