“A piece of heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013

It was the second time I visited Tulum and took a tour with Aldo. We took the bird watching tour at sunset and again what an amazing experience!!! Everything from beginning to end was just perfect and so relaxing! Aldo has so much knowledge to offer about the wildlife and nature. The best was to see all the different varieties of tropical birds flying above us on our stop at the bird island. It was again un unforgettable experience andI highly recommend these tours with Aldo.

“Relax and enjoy the beauty!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

We enjoyed the bird watching tour at sunset with Aldo. Aldo loves his "office" and sharing the beauty around him. We explored lagoons and mangroves and ended our tour at a bird island where a variety of tropical birds come to nest for night. It was amazing watching flocks of birds fly into the tree tops of mangrove and fuss for best spots. Aldo pampered us with delicious coffee and yummy treats as we watched the flocks find the sleep spots for night.

“Wonderful! The best you can get!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013 via mobile

It is probably the best sian ka'an tour you can get amongst all companies! Aldo is an outstanding guide in terms of knowledge and friendliness. We had a great and fun day on the canals, incl. Floating. Exciting and interesting.

I highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience with aldo. Try it!

“Not to be Missed from the Honeymooners”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

It was the low season and we were able to book a tour with Aldo one day in advance. He picked us up at our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was just the two of us on his tour so we had his undivided attention. We chose the boat tour and it was a GORGEOUS day for it. Hubby was too tired for anything more strenuous so the boat ride was perfect. Aldo took us through the reserve and pointed out the different species of birds and fish that we saw. We did not spot any crocs, alligators, or manatees, but that did not disappoint. It was so interesting to see the wetlands change from mangroves to grasslands and the color of the water change from brown, to red, to green. Aldo was very knowledgeable and informative and made sure we saw interesting things.

The highlight of the trip for me was the float down the freshwater canal with the currents. I really enjoyed laying back and letting the current take me away....it was very meditative. It took hubby, on the other hand, awhile to get his balance. Hubby is 6ft 2in and about 200 lbs and all we had to float on was a life vest. If we had a chance to do it again, he would definitely need 2 life vests laid open on top of each other to float comfortably.

Other than that, Aldo and his tour was the highlight of our trip! Do not miss this chance to see Tulum in its natural habitat before it was developed in Sian Kaan.
