My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are clean and quaint, with an incredible view of the sea! What really stood out for us was the wonderful staff! Everyone was ready to give us recommendations of places to eat on the beach and in town. The waiters were friendly and very professional! The front desk staff was happy to accommodate our request for an extension cord late at night and helped with parking on the weekend when the beach club was packed! The included breakfast is tasty and it is inexpensive to add an omelet if you're looking for something heartier. There are many trendy spots on the beach, but ultimately I am happy we chose to stay here instead. Oh and Tequila the hotel dog, is happy to sit next to you on the beach. We cannot wait to come back to this property!

Room tip: Room 5 is on top of the restaurant. Breakfast is at 8 am, so if you're not an early riser this might not be the best room for you.

We loved everything about this place. And the people. Food, drinks, our room, the dog, service, all of it was top of the line! We will definitely be back for our anniversary. We especially enjoyed the romantic lobster dinner they served to us on the beach ❤️

We stayed in town on this trip, and since our last visit nearly 5 years ago, Tulum has grown. We originally planned on going to Sian Ka'an to hit the beach, but somehow most of the beachfront land is now privately owned and fenced off. That left us looking to patron a beach club. After trying La Luna, we gave Villas Las Estrellas a chance, and had a great time.
There is a small parking lot here, and when we arrived, I think we got one of the last spaces. It's free, so long as you're a patron of the business.
When you walk in, you'll pass expertly manicured garden/jungle areas, and beautiful villas before walking into the bar/restaurant, which is decorated in a fashion similar to what I found in Cape Cod. We asked the server for spot on the beach, and he whisked us to a palapa area with two beach beds. The beach was clean, and the staff was attentive.
We had become ill after having a few drinks at La Luna, so we stayed away from alcohol at Villas Las Estrellas, ordering instead a few Coca-Colas, and bottles of carbonated water. We also had guacamole, and each ordered taco entrees (shrimp/arrachera), both of which were very good. We hung out for the majority of the day, and had a wonderful time. The water was brilliant, and if you do tire of the beach, there's a small pool that we were able to use - just note that there was no seating at the pool.
When all was said and done, with a 20% tip included, the day cost us just under $60USD, not at all bad!
In the future, we would happily come back to Villas Las Estrellas.

Had a wonderful time at Villa Estrellas. The beach club is wonderful! We stayed for 10 days in one of the beach side cabanas that had AC and my parents had an upper level room that faced the ocean without AC. The upper level rooms get enough wind that no AC is needed which is wonderful! The beach side cabana breaker for the AC regularly went out and that was my only complaint along with the water being a little rocky and rough to swim directly in front. . Staff is wonderful. Vibe is chill. Will def return.

Charged additional fees when we arrived for room that is small, poorly ventilated and hot. There was a dead rat on our porch. The food and drinks were very expensive compared to more upscale places within walking distance. The wait staff and cleaning staff were very nice, but the front desk management was terrible and really are the reason the experience was so negative. The lady with the red hair who never bothered to introduce herself was argumentative, disagreeing whenever issues were presented rather than trying to be accommodating. She represents everything customer service should not be.

Room tip: Can't say, we weren't offered options
