Although the location is beautiful, I was very disappointed by the lack of customer service. Not only did the proprietor lose my reservation, she had no record of my having paid the deposit. There was no record. Luckily I had my phone with the emails documenting everything. After I paid in cash, I was refused a receipt. Upon returning home, the proprietor had charged me twice through my PayPal account for the room and then refused to return my money based on the fact that I had open an inquiry into the charge on PayPal. The emails from proprietor are next to impossible to understand as her English is questionable. It took nearly 2 weeks for her to refund my card because she refused to complete the transaction due to my filing a claim with PayPal - her punishment for "being difficult." This establishment is a crock and completely unprofessional.
As for the room, we were in the jungle area, we were eaten alive by mosquitoes and the power went off twice, leaving us without even so much as a fan in the incredible heat. Do your research before going!
