We chose this place for our cenote visit, as it was the top recommendation by our server at La Coqueta and she definitely steered us in the right direction! We swam in two of the cenotes. It was like being in another world. Can't wait to go back down there and do it again!

Snorkel &/or scuba is what this Cenote offers. The grounds are so big, so allow a few hours to swim them all, including the bat cave if you wish to go on a guided swim (we opted out of this). We had visited a few Cenotes along the peninsula and this one was one of my favourites.

The water was so clear, and the little fish are so curious, they can't help but get up close and personal, but they don't pester you which I like as I am not such a fan of living organisms getting too up close and personal.

You can rent your snorkel gear from a few places along the walk to the first Cenote, and it is reasonably priced so don't be afraid to rent it there. I believe we paid M$100 for the two of us.

It's very well covered naturally, so you don;t need to put on your biodegradable sunscreen if you wish not too, but I recommend a rashie vest of some sort as the water is on the cooler side of life.

Happy swimming!

Snorkeled Dos Ojos in December 2013 and it was great. Several areas to visit, hammocks and seating for anyone who is not in the water. It's open air so it's not as daunting or clausterphobic as some of the others we had visited. Overall it was worth the cost.

Small tour group for snorkelling was great fun! Friendly staff and all equipment included! Go in the morning and beat the crowds!

I have been doing my full cave certification with Daniel Gonzalez at DiveZone Mexico (TDI Course) and this cenote is amazing! It is absolutely beautiful! Perfect for all levels, snorkeling, cavern dives, and full cave dives!
