“Snorkeling in Dos Ojos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

We visited back in December 2012 with Edventure Tours. The water was crystal clear with amazing visibility. The caves are pretty deep, and we could see the cave divers with flash lights meandering through the limestone formations far below. Lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Our guide from Edventure Tours guided us through the cave system (snorkeling parts only). Other parts of the cave system are fully submerged and only accessible to divers. We even snorkeled to the Bat Cave where you can see small fruit bats hanging from the cave roof (a little creepy!). I think ceynotes are a must-see if you visit this part of the world.

“Fabulous diving!”

Really interesting and the dive masters take every safety precaution that you would need with cave diving - extra air - extra lights . . .

“nature at it's best.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2013

Hard to write a review since this is the only cenote I have been to, thus can't compare it to any others.. However the setting for this place is great. Very natural.. very clean. Had a good time. Make sure to go on a hot day as the water is quite cold.Didn't go into the bat cave, just the 2 different caves.. although we did see bats in second cenote. Make sure to take your own snorkel gear to save money.. entrance fee is $14US which is worth it.

“Incredible”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

We went to several cenotes in Tulum area, and Dos Ojos was by far the most interesting. I definitely recommend having a guide go along, which costs $45/person including the admittance charge, but was totally worth it because otherwise you would never find the "bat cave".
