Great cenotes for snorkeling. Not too crowded with tourists. The only down side was the location. If don't go by taxi you have to walk some 3 km from the main road.

This is a really beautiful and memorable place. You can't get into the main cave areas unless you go with a guide. And you need one to help you navigate through narrow passageways & to keep you from getting lost. Don't let the uninviting, spooky first impression you get when you approach the cave entrance dissuade you from a unique experience.

I've been to Dos Ojos Cenote today with my husband. We came to the Cenote through a pre-arranged tour from the city. The view is beautiful for snorkeling, although the passages to the cave can feel a little claustrophobic. The only down was that we lost our GOPRO hero2 camera with a head band in the way to the "Bat Cave" with all of the pictures from our honeymoon until now :(
If anyone finds it, can you please contact us? Thanks a lot. (we are a blonde couple :)

We dove this cenote last week, just amazing!! The crocodile eating barbie is hilarious and the bat cave deep in the cenote is in a complete wow factor of its own. Its funny watching the snorkelers above you lol

A MUST visit. Beautiful caves to swim. Can snorkle or scuba. Cold water - but refreshing!! Fascinating history about these cenotes. Take flippers and underwater camera. Can get a taxi to this, but ensure they wait for you - you can agree this in the price.
