“Great Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

They turn out some good, inexpensive food here. Mostly locals here amid a laid-back environment. 3 tacos, 3 quesadillas, and 2 soft drinks for $11 - can't beat the price.

Note the map on TA indicates this is in the center of town; it's actually on the main road before you get to the traffic light as you approach town from the north, right across from the OXXO store.

“Excellent tacos at a great price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

Urge Tacos is a regular stop for us when going to Tulum. The tacos (carne, seafood, chicken) are awesome, as well as the fajitas, and quesadillas. The menu is quite extensive for what is essentially a little outdoor, roadside restaurant. Service is very friendly and efficient. My only complaint was the guacamole, which was 35 pesos, was a pretty small bowl.
The total bill for one order of Aracherra (Beef) fajitas, which two us us shared (and it was plenty!), guacamole, chips and salsa, and 2 diet cokes came to $ 170 pesos. The meal also comes with a salad bar, which features several kinds of cold salads and sauces and salsas to accompany your meal. Urge Taco is really yummy food at great prices!!

“Awesome great value seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Now if your the kind if person who only eats at the four seasons stop reading this review now and go elsewhere. This is an almost typical Mexican roadside eatery except the food is exceptional the service ,friendly and it's nice and clean. We have eaten in most seafood places around here and this is by far the best value and the biggest portions. The seafood tacos are deep fried as they should be and you can go nuts on the toppings the prices as off June 2013 are 22 pesos each which considering how much you get is a great deal. The map location on here is wrong its north of the main road ton the beach a little north of the supermarket on 307 away from town.

“Not your usual taco place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Urge taquito is near the entrance to Tulum. They offer taquitos that are covered in egg white and lightly fried. Some people in our party liked it but I didn't. The setting is semi-rustic with plastic tables and chairs. They do have a great spread of salsas to add to your food. Prices are reasonable and the place is clean. They make things fresh so it does take 15 or so minutes to get your food. The rest of the items in the menu are good as well.
