“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This place could have been in the south of France.Great service and wonderful food. We ate chicken and enjoyed a wonderful evening in a quite side street. One that I am happy to recommend.

“Simply great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Beautiful food and great service. My missus had some chicken and mushrooms in a creamy sauce and I had the zucchini 'spaghetti'. The dishes have just the right amount of everything and are all very tasty. The crepes are great as well, for any time of day.

“Great Coffee and Croissants”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Stopped by for breakfast, but wound up getting coffee and croissants to go. Both were great and some of the other baked goods looked great as well. We would have ordered breakfast, but for some reason, they do not open until 9:00,which to me seems odd for a bakery/breakfast spot.

“Worst meal we had in Tulum”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

It's possible Le Bistro is fine for breakfast or lunch, but for dinner it was awful. We all ordered and my husband and I said we were going to share a salad. Instead of bringing our salad ahead of the meal they brought our salad when they brought everyone else's entrees and brought our entree when everyone else was finished eating. Three of us got the Grouper special which wasn't terrible but not very good, one of us got a crepe which was terrible and I got the steak which was also terrible. The dip that they bring out in the beginning was delicious so we hoped for better. The staff was very nice and I feel bad giving a bad review but I feel like people should know.

“Real good French food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

And that croissant and cafe for breakfast, mmmm c'est bon! Try something different if you get tired of Mexican food. Had the "coq au vin" special, that's the real French food taste, that sauce...they bake their bread fresh along with those croissants. Brought some girlfriends there last week, they loved it and went back with the parents. Then they texted me later in the week: "meet us at Le Bistro for some drinks". Very reasonable prices too!
