I really found this place charming and attractive. The Argentinian run restaurant is laid out nicely with great drinks ( ginger martini is a must), beautiful and attentive staff, and food that's better than good but not quite great. The whole fish entree felt heavily oiled and hard to eat. The seafood stew was fine but nothing special and the shrimp and calamari in it were overcooked. The flavors were nice but at NYC prices they charge for things they need to deliver perfection. Desserts were boring and forgettable.
Now the appetizers were really delicious. We loved the quinoa salad and the roasted beets. My recommendation is to go there and have drinks (great selection of sophisticated wines and again crazy good ginger martini) and appetizers and skip the entrees.
