This is a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. The entire staff is so warm and friendly. It is a bit 'off the grid', as their website explains, but the closeness to the beach and pace of life there make it very enjoyable. Try the tacos in the hotel's restaraunt. Good spot for launching trips to the Tulum ruins, as well as Coba ruins and the big Mayan ruins in Chichen Itza, about 2 hours away. Don't forget to check out the cenotes, especially the one near Chichen Itza, Cenote Ik Kil. Plan on swimming in it if you want.
