We stayed in Tulum for a week and tried many different restaurants on the beach. We went to OM due the atmosphere (the thought of a hookah sounded fun). The food was just ok...nothing special. It wasn't bad, but it was not our favorite meal of the week. I had the fried calamari and my husband had the spinish calazone. We met a couple next to us that had tuna tartar, steak and somthing else and they said that it was their worst meal. We enjoyed the hookah, but didn't feel much tobacco in it. The funny thing about the place was that it was close to closing (around 10) and we as well as the other couple we met were sharing a hookah and the place decdeid to close and jsut turned off the ligth, left us with the hookah and told us to leave it on the table. I have never experienced this type of service, it was kind of funny. I am glad that they didn't kick us out, but it was just odd.
