One of the best in Tulum. The place you can have a perfect experience. The beach view is amazing, pasta done to perfection and service very amicable. Will sure be back in August. Cheers

We went to Posada Margherita with high expectations, based on the reviews, but the evening was a grand disappointment. The restaurant--tables jammed next to one another--charges higher than New York or San Francisco prices for a meal that was barely passable. The menu is small--a good sign, usually, since it signals that the restaurant is concentrating on what it does best--but the execution was unimpressive. Unoriginal pastas run upwards of $20, fish and seafood, freighted down with garlic, run upward of $25. The entirely Italian wine-list is similarly pricey, with few bottles less than $50. We had a glass of red and a glass of white house wine, and though the grapes were familiar the wine had little taste. We've enjoyed Tulum greatly and have eaten very well there, at restaurants (Ziggys, down the road, is one example; Oscar and Lalo, a bit north of town, is another) that cost a fraction as much and deliver on what they promise.

Told to come at 6.00pm..
Not able to book a table.
Why a deposit cannot be taken when making a resavation. I don't know..
But once I arrived I understood why.
A surge of other guests all arriving at 6.00pm. We were all told to come then if want a chance to get a table.
Herded to the bar. while being put on the waiting list..
Ordered our drinks. Very weak.
We waited and waited, got very bored, ordered more drinks. Then shopped in the shop.
They had made lots of money from us even before we even got to eat anything.
Got a table, ordered food.
Got main course before the starter of bread and dips.
No prices on the wine list.
Nice food, but to be honest would have eaten anything as we were all so hungry by then..
Ordered the bill. Much more expensive than warranted.
Luckily they cynically have a cash machine in the middle of the bar.
I assume as so many guests get caught out as the bill was expensive.
The whole experience would have been much more enjoyable if we could only have booked a table.
We felt harrased and very stressed by the whole experience...
Pity as very pretty and nice food. but not worth the stress..

Dear Travelers: I Visit Tulum More than 16 years ago the first time, One day a dear friend of mine introduce me to Posada Margherita and their Family, since that day till today there is no one dinner in this beautiful place that is not Precious, this my experience as a local, you will love it, please try to get there early a full house every night for sure.. Hand made Pasta, delicious Sea Salt fish, and the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse Wowwww, my favorite wine AltaVista Premium Malbec..

You think this is just another day in your life ??

It's not just another day..

It's the one day that is given to YOU,
Today.
It's given to you,
It’s a gift.
It’s the only gift that you have right now,
And the only appropriate response
is gratefulness!

Begin by opening your eyes...
and be surprised that you have eyes you can open.
Enjoy the incredible array of colors that is constantly
offered to us, for our pure enjoyment.

Look at the sky..
But really look at the sky, we so rarely look at the sky,
And notice how different it is from moment to moment, with clouds coming and going.

We just think of the weather. Even with the weather. we don't think of all the many nuances of weather.
We just think of good weather and bad weather, but this day right now, is "unique weather".
Maybe a kind that will never exactly in that form come again, the formation of clouds in the sky will never be the
same that is right now.

Open your eyes look at that..

Look at the faces of people whom you meet,
Each one has an incredible story behind their face,
A story that you could never fully fathom,
Not only their own story,
But the story of their ancestors, we all go back so far.
And in this present moment,
On this day.
All the people you meet, all that life from generations and from so many places all over the world,
Flows together and meets you here, like a life giving water,
if you only..open your heart and drink.

Open your heart,
to the incredible gifts that civilization gives to us,
You flip a switch and there is electric light,
You turn a faucet and there is warm water and cold water,
and drinkable water.
It’s a gift that millions and millions in the world will never experience.
So these are just a few of an enormous number of gifts to which we can open your heart.

So I wish you, that you will open your heart
To all these blessings
And let them flow
through you.

That everyone who you will meet on this day.
Will be blessed by you,
Just by your eyes,
By your smile,
By your touch,
Just by your presence.

Let the gratefulness over flow into blessings all around you.

Then it will really be…
A good day
