I thought my comment on our stay in july was submitted but something apparantly went wrong. So now 3 months later with falling leaves in Amsterdam I look back upon this lovely stay and still want to be there! Incasa las olas you can live like you own a house on a deserted beach (and what a beach ! the best you can imagine), at the same time no worries at all due to excellent service and wonderful tips from Jimmy and his staff. It only takes a small walk on the beach to nice restaurants if you don't want to cook . The white sand, the turqoise sea, the coconuts, the lovely barbecue Jimmy prepared for us, the sunset in Sian Kahn preserve with drinks and excellent company, I will never forget and we will be back !!!!!

Room Tip: Master suite is a beautiful apartment , with lovely veranda with view on the ocean !

If you are looking for a true escape to paradise, don't even bother with the rest of Tulum. We went down to Tulum to plan our wedding and stayed at Olas the entire time. We checked out 75% of the resorts in Tulum and none of them could touch the pure tranquility of Olas. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the excellent service from Jimmy and Antonio to the pristine beach that is Olas's front yard.

Awesome Casa, beautiful rooms with views to die for, this is my second trip to this wonderful boutique hotel, if your looking for peace and quiet this is the place. Directly on the beach...Check out Hartwood restaurant right down the road, also Sian Khan Preserve is right next door, hear the birds singing above the jungle tree tops, monkeys, and more.

I just attended the most amazing yoga retreat at the Casa de las Olas. A great instructor coupled with five days in paradise. It could not have been more perfect. The rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Anything and everything we asked about was arranged. The secluded location and private beach made for one of the most relaxing vacations that I have ever had. Everywhere you looked it was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back.

There are certain places you can travel to that stay with you forever..... This is that place. You will appreciate the simple beauty ..... It's Eco friendly atmosphere, the spectacular beach along with great food in a casual environment. There is so much to do from excursions to sunsets to just relaxing on a very private and spectacular beach. The staff is so friendly that when you leave you feel as if you have a home there forever.

Room Tip: I have stayed in both the large suite with friends in which has all the comforts of home with the mo...

The previous reviewer is spot on. We had the Master Suite downstairs. It was like being in our own home. Cesiak in the Biosphere is a great restaurant and a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Jimmy was on vacation and Elizabeth did a great job in his absence. This place is the real deal. This was our first visit - the first of many to come. Caution - Natural Air Conditioning, with addition of a small electric fan during the night.

Room Tip: Master suite is the way to go. Get a car, but employ guides for visiting Cenotes and some other adve...

I've been coming to Tulum for over 10 years, bouncing around different hotels, always looking forward to trying a new spot the next time I visit. I have to say, though, that Casa de las Osas has changed all that. I truly fell in love with this place and know I will return here often.

Located at the end of Boca Paila Road, just before the entrance to Sian Kan Biosphere, the hotel has an idyllic and private location. The beach is the best in Tulum with warm, clam water free of rocks and debris. The common spaces are mellow, with hammocks amidst coconut trees and hand made thatched palm shaded areas on the beach. Rooms are simple, elegant and comfortable. Ocean breezes ruffle white curtains and rain storms thunder across your view. The only truly sustainable place on the beach, Casa de las Osas is run off solar panels so don't expect to use your blow dryer or curling iron. In fact, if you're high maintenance, you should skip this place all together. This hotel is for unplugging, relaxing and communing with nature. Expect to pop open your own Corona and forget about life.

Don't miss:
Coconuts with Antonio
Massages from the Argentines
Swimming with Whale Sharks
Turtle nesting season
Private Cenote touring with Rob
Sunset Catamaran trips with Fabian
Hanging out and getting the scoop from the best host, Jimmy.

Seriously amazing. Terrific service. Fabulous people. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: If you're traveling with family go baller style and get the suite downstairs- the bathroom and c...
