I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible birdwatching trip with Jorge! Not only was he a remarkable guide with fantastic knowledge of the local environment and history, he is a phenomenal birder. We started at 6am (on a freshwater lagoon that we had all to ourselves!) and by noon had seen 50+ species in 3 distinct environments! I can’t even list here everything we saw (mot mots, multiple flycatchers, osprey, snail kite, cinnamon hummingbirds - several edenmic species, the list is so long!) Jorge even trekked is through the woods to spot the keel-billed toucans we could hear from the path. He was also incredibly easy to talk to and was a fantastic educator - catering to my novice friend and my more moderate knowledge; making it fun for all. Also, he brought fantastic snacks and delicious coffee in reusable containers:) I can’t recommend these guys enough - professional and approachable. We will most definitely be coming back on future trips to the penninsula!
