We visited here for a quick babymoon from California. What a great decision I made to enjoy stress free vacation. Although it was rainy season, the resort offers so much that we can do. You don’t even have to leave the property as dining options are amazing(Kudos to the pastry chef) Do not worry about the weather, it’s fantastic with character!

For service, whomever you encounter around the resort will greet you with a smile and ready to help you. Daniel from guest services was extremely helpful in arranging our short trip productive during our relaxing time away from home.

You are our true Genie (aka Daniel, our wish maker) in Mayakoba - can’t wait to be back!

Great location, excellent service, went above and beyond. lot of seaweed, and the crew tried their best, but we had plenty of other things to do, so it wasnt an issue. Weather was great. Best to choose the all inclusive package. Fernando, their head concierge was amazing!

This is one of the best (if not THE best) hotel in Playa del Carmen. Service is outstanding from every single person in the hotel. Have some trouble with TV and the staff fixed it in an eye blink. Will definitely come back with my family and enjoy the gorgeous beach they have.

I was there for a business conference and extended my stay for a couples long weekend. The resort is awesome - very unique environment as the property is carved into the jungle. Our room was excellent. The restaurants are all very good. You also get access to the surrounding resorts without having to leave Mayakoba - which greatly enhances the food options, etc. Our room came with butler service: our butler, Daniel, was great! Very attentive to our needs and helped tremendous with dinner reservations, etc. Highly recommend this location - it's well worth the price and I'm certain I will be returning!

Room tip: Rooms near the beach are excellent but be aware that they are over 1 mile from the main resort. Transport options are easy and plentiful.

I went with a friend to sit on the beach and relax. The beach, room, spa, food and staff were all lovely. I had read a few less-than-positive reviews and am now not sure what they were talking about... maybe there were renovations since they were there? I love luxury hotels and this ranks among them. In any case, the staff is he best part - Noe the driver, Sophie at the beach bar and Filiberto our waiter on the beach always made us feel like VIP guests. The beach was beautiful - no seaweed, no shortage of lounge chairs, waiters or cocktails. For breakfast, we found room service to be the best value. Otherwise, all the food we had was very good. We never would have eaten/drank enough for the all inclusive so we opted out. The spa... very quite and relaxing... there are pools on the roof: hot and cold with private lounge areas. Also there are separate women's and men's lounges with their own hot tubs, sauna and aroma therapy rooms. Worth spending a few hours before or after your treatments. I don't go to Mexico often, but would be happy to return here soon!

Room tip: Beach Casitas - closest to the beach, more removed from the rest of the resort
