We've visited the Xplore last week without doing previous research or knowing too much on what to expect but ended up being one of the best excursions we ever took! We were picked up in front of the hotel with top of the notch bus and the ride to the park took about half an hour. Our tour guide explained everything, we bought the water shoes the day before at the Avenida Cinco, brought the water camera and were ready to go. The entrance to the cave on the beggining is amazing - going through the caves and the jungle you reach the locekrs. There are rather small so watch out - we had difficulties putting our bag fit. We first went to the car ride. You can get easily lost around the park but there ust seems to be always a person you can ask for a direction when you need one. There are signs on every crossroad but still they've put enough employees all around to show you where to go and what to do. There are water and soda dispensers frequently, a great plus. Huge bathrooms, showers and even plastic bags for wet clothes which is really convinient. The drive in the cars was wooow - through the jungle, the bridge, the caves, the mud...just great. Think it took us about 45 minutes to finish it, not sure exactly. Then we went to the lounge area for the jummiest smoothie (with nuts and oat) I ever tried. There are hammocks, sun chairs, lake like pool, beautiful birds...we wanted to stay there longer but we had a lot ahead. then we went for the zip lines - first we decided to try the longer/heavier one. This was the first zip line experiance and it was really scary untill the beggining. The wait was about 15 minutes, nothing to complain about. We felt safe but were still scared on the first jump...just close your eyes in the very beggining :) This was an amazing experiance flying over the jungle and the water endings especially...on the other zip line route is the water slide - fun! To do both the routs at once it takes approx 1.5 hours. We tried lunch after the zip lines - simple buffet, but ok. The river swim and the paddles we did the last...the scenary is impossible to describe as it is so beautiful and amazing...enjoyed every minute! After the shower and change, the time we had left was just enough to pick up the photos on the way out and head to the buses. Again, everything was easy to find or just there in front of you, the staff were everywhere helping you get around...was really surprised with the level of organization of the park. The photos (they take them during the attractions) were already chosen for us when we gave them our helmet numbers, so we purchesed it on a cool Xplore USB stick (like this much much better then the A4 printouts that they usually give...) - and made it outside of the park to the buses just on time (and yes, there was employees at the exit again pointing you to your exact bus as there are dozens of buses there).
All in all, the whole experiance was amazing and if you are in the area, I definetly reccomend this whole day excursion!

Had the best day of our holiday at Xplor! Loads of fun, adrenaline rush in complete safety.
Staff were friendly and professional, no language problems as everyone spoke English.
The buffet is the best we have ever seen, outranks the food on offer in some of the hotels we have stayed in and worth a visit to the park just for that alone!

If you only visit one place in this part of Mexico then visit here- you won't be disappointed.

First let me say this is not the type of attraction I like to go to. I usually stick to kayaking or something not so commercial. But Xplore is something a bit in between. Yes, it is a theme park. But it is not like Disneyland. The zip lines were amazing. My family loves zip lines and after we did the first track we decided not to do the other one because we had done enough. Then it was off to amphibious vehicle. They really let you drive and its amazing. Not for people with back problems. The river swim was a bit chilly but worth doing. The rafting was ruined by people who don't know how to paddle. I really enjoyed this because I did not get to go on a cenote tour and thie swim and paddle take you through them. There is a lot of walking involved. We took our parents who are in their 60's have knee problems and they did fine

My fiance and I visited Xplor for a day through Best Day Travel. The park was awesome! We did zip lining first and are happy we did because even when we got back to do the second round of zip lines the wait was like 45 minutes, so I recommend going to these first. There are a lot of towers to climb so bring water if you can because it is quite a workout. Next we did the amphibious vehicles which were great, the people in front of us were going slow so one of the workers pulled them over and let everyone pass. Lots of sightseeing on the vehicle tours, bring a camera! Next we were going to do the rafts, but it had just rained the night before so the water in the caves were too high so we ended up swimming through these caves instead which was also nice. Most of the activities require being physical so be prepared!

The food they give you for lunch is great and a lot of healthy/energizing options. (I wish American theme parks would take after this idea) I enjoyed the lunch a lot.

Throughout the day you have to wear a helmet, which has a number on it so when you leave they can look up your photos. At the end of the day you can buy these on a flash drive, kind of expensive but worth it for the memories. 75$ for two people. *****If you are going to any of the other theme parks like Xcaret/Xenotes/Xel-Ha they all have a similar price for photos so think of which ones you want to buy.. I recommend Xenotes, you basically have a personal photographer there instead of pre-positioned photos.

Staff throughout the park were great/very helpful

Besides the price of photos being high, the price for water shoes was expensive so think of bringing your own they come in handy to have.

Overall it was great and a full day of fun and activities- make sure you have a whole day for the trip because it will be a long and tiring day!
