Loved the restaurant, not many tables but still it wasn't packed (and, surprisingly, I've never seen it packed during my 10 day vacation), salmon (entradas) was splendid, chicken as a main course was good, loved the vine, postres - chocolate mousse was really good, staff was welcoming, however their USD exchange rate was a literal rip off.

This is a small restaurant with a small menu but what they do they do well. Our waiter was very friendly and guided us through the menu and gave friendly suggestions on what we should try. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back again!

We live in Playa del Carmen and go to Cocotte Cita at least once a week. The owner and the entire staff are so nice and always so welcoming. All the dishes are wonderful and made with fresh ingredients, we have never been disappointed. We have been to many restaurants here and there are very few we would recommend but this one is at the very top of the list.

We had a lovely late dinner here and were glad we went by the trip advisor reviews and sought it out on one of our last nights in Playa.

We started with the Foie Gras and Baked Egg which was lovely, we would hvae licked the bowl clean if we didnt want to offend the other patrons. I then had the seafood tagine which was a delightful balance of sweet and savory. My fiance had the Chicken Basque which was also amazingly done. I wish I could have the recipe to try for myself!

Food was top notch, service was average and ambiance was relaxing. Very happy overall with Cocotte Cita.

Couldn't stop eating the fois gras with baked egg until the bowl was clean and the salad was Delish! Didn't think the price was that bad either:) the chairs were a bit uncomfortable but Would definitely come back here again.
