We just got back Friday night from a 10 day stay at the Capri. We had a total of 22 guests stay. All 22 of us rave about the resort and are discussing returning again next year. We were greeted with Champaigne and warm towels, friendly bell boy to assist with our lugage, and our jr. ocean view suite was ready upon arrival (with our a/c working beautifully at 65 degrees all week long).

Upon our 2nd day we met with Martina, our wonderfully amazing on-sight wedding planner, to go over and finalize all of the arrangements and details (which we had all done plenty of time prior to our arrival). From the day we booked our wedding at Capri, she was in constant contact working w/us to take the picture/dream from our minds to make it a reality! For any bride who is on the fence or which type of wedding to have... hands down: destination wedding is the way to go and Martina makes the process seamless and stress free. We fell in love with her through the entire process. There isn't anything that's off the list that they cannot do, down to the smallest detail, to make your day perfect.

The rehersal consisted of the bridal/groom/parents walking over to the gazebo from our pool lounge chairs. The very laid back genre was elating and exactly what we wanted. What took 15 mintues out of our day to then resume enjoying the sun, pool and drinks with our friends and familes.

On the day of, my ladies and I were delighted with our spa experience (hair, make-up, and nails). W/booking a wedding package, all of the spa treatments were all discounted. Everyone is so very sweet and accomidating! We had champaigne while we were dolled up! :)

The ceremony was in less words: wonderfully perfect down to the smallest detials! (And who knew that my groom was only out in the pool an hour ago playing water volleyball with his groomsmen!) Our pictures are to die for and Deigo was great to work with. Photos are also included in the wedding packages options. During the bride/groom photos, our guests had cocktails and hoursdourves poolside during the sunset. Our reception was held on the deck over looking the ocean. The light breeze off the ocean, the lighting, the whole ambiance that the Capri staff created for us was beyond our dreams. The food was to die for and our drinks never were empty!

Coming back to our room, they staff has transfered it into a romantic wedding night scene. Candles, rose petals, the whole nine yards. The next morning we were treated to a big delicious breakfast in bed! Not to mention every evening around 8:00 we were delivered to our room little treats such as chocolate covered strawberries, etc. The little eminities they left in our room were always awesome! The beach-side dinner was the most romantic dinner we have ever had and a must do if you're planning on staying at the Capri!

All in all, it was hard to leave and we cannot wait to return again next year!

I can't say enough about this place.... The service was second to none. We wanted for nothing while we were there. The food was five star (particularly Portafino). We were also very impressed with Himitsu, Cactus Bar (love the ceviche selections!!), and Oceana. The bartender at the pool bar learned our favorite drinks very quickly and would have them ready for us as we made our way through the water up to the bar!

There is literally something for everyone at the morning breakfast buffet. It's amazing!

We had so much fun just hanging out on the beach and feeding the white fish that will come to you right there in waist-high water. They were so sweet! We would take a piece of bread out to the water and hand-feed them. The sand on the beach and in the water had NO stones or coral. It was like walking on silk pillows! I suppose it made the water a little murky because it was so sandy, but I enjoyed snorkeling and playing with the white fish anyway. I also did see the largest stingray I've ever seen out by the ropes in the deepest section. Someone else saw some small barracudas.

The maid service was really good also. Our room was kept spotless. We even sometimes left valuables out and cash sitting right in my purse on the table, but nothing was ever touched or taken! I tipped every day because I was so grateful for the job they did.

The nightclub that is onsite does keep it lively in the evenings, so there is something always to do after dinner. They do karaoke, dancing, dance lessons, comedy, plus there are pool tables and table games. We also sat outside next to the pool and watched a movie one night. I do recommend some bug repellant if you intend to spend any time outdoors in the evenings.

I know that tips are included in the all-inclusive package, but some of the staff were just too amazingly wonderful, so we did tip some of the time. It would have just felt wrong not to show our appreciation.

Normally, I do have some small complaint with anywhere we visit, but not this time! Go and Enjoy!!!

Room Tip: If you like to go to bed early, ask for a room far away from the nightclub. Otherwise, the sound stops at 12:30 am.

After staying 3 nights at much more budget property {which we had one for free} we anxiously arrived at the resort and we ready for 5 star! We were greeted with champagne and a cool towel, and guided to check in. After being at the other resort which was much larger and not nearly as personable, we were checked in at the 3 desk check in in which we sat down and were personally checked in. Best hint is to ask about an upgrade to our room. The resort was not full, and sine we decided to forego any tours, we decdied to out the money into our room. This was the ebst decision we could have made. The ocean front junior sites wer amazing! Only steps from the beach, and the partially covered porch allowed us to sun or shade on our own chaise chairs. note, ask for the bottom level. The second floor did not have a covered area on the porch so no sitting out when it rained, or no where to escape the hot sun. Take advantage of the water sports included with your stay, The catamaran was a blast. Utilize the room service. Best french toast ever!

Over all, I would rate this 4 .5 stars. The food was good to great. I guess being from Kansas City we were dissappointed in the steak house.

Room Tip: Left side of resort, lower level jr suite ocean front

we enjoyed our 2 weeks stay at the Secrets Capri resort. It's not a very large hotel so you really get to know the

staff and they were always very helpful. Rooms are very elegant, spacious, with marble floors, comfortable beds,

fully stocked mini-bar, etc. . Food was good in the buffet and was great in the a la carte restaurants. The pool is

lovely and you can always find a confortable chair to relax in. If you prefer to rest at the beach, you will find a

nice breeze while sitting under a palapas. Swimming in the ocean was enjoyable and water was really warm.

Secrets Capri is a great, smaller, quieter "adults only" resort and we would recommend this place to anyone who

wishes to have a relaxing vacation with absolute confort and fantastic staff.
We would lke to thank all the staff, especially Morenita.
The photos are attached on the forum.

We will be returning to Secrets Capri in 3 weeks for our 6th visit. Without a doubt, it is our favorite resort. Everything about Capri is just perfect...the size of the resort, the food, the rooms, and most of all the staff and workers.

I love the hacianda decor look of the buildings and the grounds, both of which are always clean and spotless. Our favorite type room is the Oceanview Junior Suite in the North Wing. The ground level rooms are large, lots of storage, nice patio, and best of all, the sliding doors open up to a beautiful view of the pool and ocean.

The "real gem" of Capri is the staff and the workers. I can not say enough about how hard they work to make your visit with them as pleasant as possible. With so many visitors each year, I can't beleive that the staff and workers remember you and call you by name when you return for a visit. I take small daily gifts for our maid and $100 in ones for tips. Tips are not expected, but it makes you feel so good to be able to share with those who have less than you and I.

Make sure you meet Rita, the omelet chef; she has the most wonderful personality and remembers how you like your eggs from one morning to the next. Oscar is one of the pool and beach waiters and he is either smiling or singing. Sergio is part of the enterainment team and has a way of making you feel so special. Humberto is the head concierge and will go out of his way to help you with any questions.

One of the most wonderful things that has happened from our visits to Capri is meeting Joe and Dottie (from New Jersey)! On one of our first visits to Capri we just by chance happened to sit beside each around the pool and stared to talk.....well, we have never stopped talking! If we travel anywhere, the four of us go together! E-mails and phone calls have created a friendship that will last for ever....thank you Capri.

I know we all have favorite places we like to visit, but I do hope you will give Secrets Capri a chance. It will be a visit you will always remember with happy thoughts.

Room Tip: Ask for a room up-grade, it is just like asking for an up-grade on an airline, sometimes you get lucky!
