We stayed at El Taj for a week in April and ate several times at Imprevist for dinner and for breakfast. We have two small kids who are 7 and 5 and though the restaurant doesn't proclaim to be kid friendly, it most certainly was. The staff (I wish I could remember all of their names: Angel was one of them and our main server remembered us and always gave great service). The food for dinner was excellent, and the kids were able to have a pasta dish where we just removed a few things and we both had delicious meals. The brunch was outstanding. Every morning we got a basket of Mexican pastries and the servers remembered the children loving the "concha" which are a traditional Mexican pastry so they would always bring two of them. The sopes with pork on the menu were the best things my husband and I think we've ever eaten, we ordered them twice. The beautiful place of fruit and jams and granola were such a nice touch and the kids got to have their pancakes or waffles. The wait staff was really patience and kind and that's part of what made it so easy to keep frequenting the restaurant. We are going back next year and can't wait!
