From the moment we sat down we were treated like Kings. After our lovely waiter took our orders we received a complimentary starter that set the tone for the rest of the evening. For starters, you have to try the pork belly and scallops (everyone agreed the scallops were the best we have ever eaten) and for mains the fillet mingon was sensational. My husband ordered the osso bucco which actually turned out to be a lamb shank but it was still good, just unexpected. I had the chicken satay and the only complaint is that the chicken was a little dry but that is expected with chicken breast anyway so that's my fault. One highlight for me that I thought was overly generous was when the waiter accidentally knocked over a wine glass with a mouthful of wine left in it. It was not an issue at all and we felt sorry for him because you could tell he felt so bad! Five seconds later he returned with a full glass and more apologies. It pretty much summed up this restaurant. Very gracious and attentive. The best restaurant in Playa del Carmen without question.
