“very nice small hotel”

Great place for the price. Pretty rooms and grounds. Friendly staff. Free beach towels, and access to free large beach umbrellas and lounges at nearby Mamita's beach club. While location is one of its strengths it can also be the biggest downside if you are not a sound sleeper. Bars across 30 Calle North play loud music on Thursday & Friday nights and could hear the thump of the electronic music until 2AM. If you can not speak Spanish, suggest communicating by email in advance and asking about desired additional services. Arranged transportation to and from airport through hotel and it worked well. Did not know about trips to Tulum through hotel, or about massages until after we returned home. Juices at breakfast in morning were great. Breakfast itself lacking in variety, but is free, and if you get bored with it there are all types of restaurants on 5th avenue within an easy walk.

Room Tip: Suggest ask staff in advance which rooms are most quiet at night.

Very clean hotel, and the staff were so helpful with everything, including hailing taxis and trying to prevent the drivers from overcharging us. It was a very relaxing place to stay and I loved the mid level lounges that were essentially outdoor rooms, and the balcony for the room. The breakfast area was very nice too, although the portions were definitely on the smaller side. The proximity to the beach and the restaurants was a great. They provide a pass for Mamita's Beach Club, but you have to sometimes get there very early, as during busy times you may get turned away. It was nice to be in a smaller place in stead of feeling like I would get lost in the mega resorts.

We were at this delightful little hotel from Jan.15-Feb.8/13. It was a beautiful place, and the staff was excellent! The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It's 1 block from the beach and 1/2 from 5th Ave. We really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. We also met some really interesting people from Sycamour, Illinois, and Puerto Moreles, and Norway.
We definetly enjoyed the slower pace. The last 9 years we've gone all-inclusive. This was a reallly nice change!
The breakfast was very good in the morning.
Beds were a little hard, but all beds in Mexico seem to be that way.
We never had any trouble getting a palapa at the beach club. We usually went by 9:30 a.m. We noticed that by 10'ish you might be in trouble in finding one as they were usually all taken by that time.

Overall, we will definetly go back!
Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are the quietess. We were on the 2nd floor and our balcony over looked the poo...

Hotels and rooms are very nice and with good size. The place is very close to the beach and Mamitas bar. Staff was very nice and helpfull and in general is a real good value for money.
Can be noisy on the night during weekends given that is very close to some bar on the Quinta Avenida. Breakfast is not that amazing..this could be improved al lot with small efforts...

Nice hotel with the best service ever, employees were really sweet and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Location was perfect with a 5 minutes walk to the lovely beach and free access to Marmaris beachclub. Back at the hotel small pool with fairly cold water, but cosey, quiet and convenient. Breakfast was tasty, however same stuff every day. 5th avenue just around the corner - all in all a wonderful hotel at a very reasonable price with the best location.

Hot spot in the city, near to beach mamitas, and near to main street where is every restaurant, bar, souvenire shop... Very kindly staff, and excellent management policy. Breakfast could be better. I was there for 8 days, abt 4 weeks ago. Rooms are cleaned daily. Small swimming pool, more for the eyes, not really to swim in.

Customer service, customer service, customer service. The entire staff at the hotel really knows how to make you feel welcomed. They were helpful and friendly from our first email until the day that we departed. I asked many questions about restaurants, tours, cleaners, gyms, etc... and they provided answers with a smile every time.

The hotel room was very well maintained and had a rustic look and feel to it. The hotel is located around the corner from 5ta avenida and near many restaurants, shops, bars. It is also within a 2 minute walk to the beach. In our opinion, the beach is the best in the area. We really enjoyed the music at Mamitas beach club while relaxing on the beach chairs.

I really recommend the Tulum and Coba tour offered at the hotel. Take a swimsuit to enjoy the beautiful beach (playa paraiso) that's included as part of the tour.

The hotel offers massage services by Gaby and we highly recommend her if you are looking to relax on your vacation.

Breakfast was simple, fresh and consistent. It included coffee, tea, freshly squizzed fruit juices, fruits, bread, black beans and eggs. Perfect way to start the day.

As an added bonus, the hotel staff sent us a very nice floral arrangement for our wedding day and they created a beautiful design on our beds with flowers and towels.

Saludos y muchas gracias a Silvina, Yanina, Gaby, Melina, Maite, Mati, Margarita y a todos los demas que nos trataron super bien!

Room Tip: Rooms away from 30th street are quieter
