We have light food to accompany your hot or cold coffees and teas. From filled bagels and croissants to light salads and delicious cakes and cookies. Sanctuary just a block and half from the busy 5th Avenue and right in the centre of town. You can pop in for your coffee fix and a chat or grab one and run. We have a delivery service too if you need us! Free wi-fi and a smile. Hope to see you soon!

The coffee in this place is excellent. We tried the coffees, frapes and lattees and all were delicious. My favourite was definitely the caramel frappe. The owner Paul from London is a great guy and gave us great advice on nearby restaurants and attractions. This place is more of a takeout stop but there are 2 tables to sit inside as well. We didn't try the breakfast or lunch food but it seems like he keeps it quality and simple. Bagels with smoked salmon etc. We did have one homemade cookie though which was great. Make sure you stop by this place for a cold frappe on a hot day.

This was my second trip to Playa and I had the good fortune to visit Paul whenever I could for my afternoon coffee. His coffee is always fresh, rich and satisfying. He is a most charming and delightful man and always ready to help those new in town. His prices are very reasonable compared to other places in town. Can't wait to be back in Playa next fall!

So glad we found Paul's Coffee Stop on our recent stay - we made it a daily routine. Paul's coffee is rich and flavorful, grown in Mexico and locally roasted. The generous servings were priced much lower than comparably sized Starbucks. We enjoyed a freshly prepared and delicious egg sandwich and salmon & bagel. There are many other food selections available. Most enjoyable was Paul's company - he recommended excellent places for dinner (local, authentic and economical) and we enjoyed our conversations with him and other customers at this welcoming and congenial spot. Felt like you were visiting friends.

We visit Playa yearly and couldn't have been happier to have found Coffee Stop. We enjoyed many Latte's and great conversations with Paul (the owner who is extremely friendly). From where we were staying it was a bit of a walk for us but as we passed other coffee shops along the way we were just not willing to compromise. I suppose we could be considered "coffee snobs" for we are quite fussy about our coffee. One evening the shop was closed when we arrived but Paul saw us and welcomed us in, making us a couple Latte's even though it meant starting the machine back up. Now that's customer service!
