Incredible cenote, if you can find it! Juan, our guide, was great with his perfect english and fun anecdotes. Dont miss it if you're in the area. We had the place to ourselves at 3pm today.

“Very interesting!”

New experience for us - extensive underwater formations, fish & stalagmites viewed through crystal clear waters.

Definitely need a guide to do the entire loop.

“Best part of our trip”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

I visited this cenote, located just outside of Playa del Carmen, with two teenagers. It's an amazing experience!! Juan, our tour guide, was informative, fun, laid back, and welcoming. We tipped him $20 at the end (he works solely for tips) and it was WELL worth it! This cenote experience includes three cenotes, some underground "river" type experiences, and a guided tour. We brought our masks and snorkles, but you could do with or without them. We were the only family there (we got there about 10am) and it was a personal, one-on-one experience as opposed to the "theme park" experiences of the larger cenotes. This is the real deal. All four of us agreed that it was the highlight of our time in Playa, Tulum, Chichen Itza, and the environs. Can't say enough!!

“A cenote and caving experience”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

We had a great experience here too. First we had to find out how to get there - our hotel concierge in Playa del carmen had not heard of this cenote, so we decided to ask taxi drivers. The first one didn't know, the second thought he knew - but had to stop and check on the way. We got there fine - 120 pesos for the taxi. The cenote people will call a taxi for the return, but it costs 150 pesos because its a callout.
We took the guided tour just for the 2 of us, and were pleased we did - another group went through with about 20 people and was very regimented. We went through small passages and into very small caves so you have to be prepared to do it.Our guide gave us lots of information and was careful as well so we didn't feel worried at any stage. We were in the caves and cenotes for over 2 hours.
They provide all the equipment so you don't need to bring anything except watershoes and swimming gear.
