The Condo was clean and well equipped - it is close to the pool and beach which was very convenient
We never walked to 5th - we drove and it took us about 8 minutes
The Pool bar service was sketchy - they were not operating on New Years Day ....
But we just took our own drinks to the pool...

Although cleaning was supposed to be prearranged - it did not happen ...

Unfortunately this condo is on the ground floor and there was a break-in on New Years Eve/Day at 4 am in the morning .... we were sleeping but one bedroom was unlocked - the intruder entered that bedroom but was scared off by the occupants - fortunately nothing was stolen but it was a very frightening experience ...
They managing company did come that day and install re-enforcing locks (maybe this should have been done before ?)

I would have to think twice before renting a ground unit again ....

I loved this condo! It is 45 steps away from the sand. It is quiet. And, the place was decorated beautifully.
We will definitely be coming back to this place. We just fell in love with Mareazul, Playa del Carmen, and the people of Mexico.
Matt Weatherbee, Carla, and Jazmin of NAS Playa took very good care of us. I highly recommend Agua Dulce and NAS Playa property management.
