“A Happy Discovery!”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

While visiting friends in Playa, we were charged with finding pastries to bring home for breakfast. We happened upon Chez Celine (we stayed north of Playa and generally avoided the extreme tourist portions of 5th south of 34th). My husband and I were delighted with the selection of pastries, breads, friendly service and relatively close location to our condo north of 38th.

“Great place for pastries”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Stopped in here for dessert while walking down 5th. Fresh pastries so yummy. We are going back for breakfast tomorrow. Looking forward to sitting at the tables outside and enjoying the beautiful weather.

“Not the best food but fare price”
Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

The food is OK. The atmosphere is excellent. The roast beef sandwich is good. The Brie salad is not good at all. The 3 cheese crepe was not the best. Do not order the cranes frias plate

“Tres bien!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

I ate lunch here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and ambiance. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive and the sandwiches are outstanding. The first time, I chose a tomato, mozzarella and basil sandwich on a perfectly crisp French banquette. It came with a little side dish of beautiful basil sauce that you could add as needed. Second time, I tried the grilled veggie sandwich on a toasted mufti-grain roll. It too came with a small dish of tasty green sauce that you could add as desired. Very satisfying and a great place for breakfast too, I understand. And you can dine al fresco!.
