You would think that the most interesting and wonderful thing about this underground restaurant in a huge cave would be just that; that it is an underground restaurant in a huge cave. But no. : )
It would be that there is incredible food in an underground restaurant in a huge cave. The habanero cream soup is absolutely artwork, the lime soup is off the charts (and I have had lime soup EVERYWHERE, none this wonderful) The shrimp were VERY large and when you bit into them they popped with absolute, definable freshness and no freezer taste, incredible. But the four cheese ravioli was off....the....chain. I called them "almuadas de cielos", pillows of heaven. Go ahead, go for the fabulous cave that twists and winds around underground and will absolutely amaze you. But stay for the food, and you'll be so glad that you came to Alux. : ) They aren't inexpensive, but they are SO worth it.
