Mole plate was not all chicken breast, it was mixed with pork. The drink ware was chipped. Miguel our server was the greatest. He did try to make our visit pleasant.

“Locals eat here for breakfast.”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

We stayed at the attached hotel, so after seeing lots of locals eating breakfast there, we decided to try it. No price was posted for the "breakfast bar" but we were told 18 pesos. It was actually 80 pesos, we misunderstood. (I'm guessing the prices for the locals was lower.) But the food was good (scrambled eggs with and without meat, potatoes, tortillas, etc.) and service was also good. We ate a late breakfast that day, and the food was a little dried out, but they brought out fresh stuff, too. Juice and coffee were included.

“Try something off the beaten path”
Reviewed April 4, 2011

Was droppped off at the corner where this restaurant was located at and was actually looking for another one about a block away on 5th street. Was inticed by the great menu and prices. Was greeted by Austin (MD) who started the night with a few shots of his home brew TA-Kill-Ya. Meal was great the prices were fantastic. Proves that you should be adventeous when eating in PDC. Giving Austin and La Hacienda a great big Thumbs UP !!!!

“This restaurant is partnof the hotel and...”
Reviewed August 24, 2010

This restaurant is partnof the hotel and provides it's guests with a convenient dining option as well as room service. They have daily specials on food and drinks from which the menu is geared towards the local tourist.

We had the Cajun style shrimp fajitas and chicken flautas (deep fried taquitos). The ingredients are clearly local and the preparation is fresh. The chips and salsa were exquisite. These are not your typical poured-out-of-a-bag chips. These are freshly made tortillas that have been cut and deep fried, but not burnt to a crisp. The salsa is more like pico de gallo, a zesty mixture of chopped tomatoes, white and green onions, peppers, cilantro, resting in a shallow bath of their natural juices.
