We stopped here by chance - and did not regret it! We had two different kinds of pasta dishes, both were cooked "al dente" and tasted delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. Would go there again?

We ate one evening here and I can honestly say that the food was excellent. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten. The service was attentive, not pushy and no one would rush you. They even told us that the wait was 10-15 minutes for a pizza.

All this was spoilt when we got the bill ;;; They automatically add on a line saying PROPINA;;;; It doesn't even get circled like in some places with Suggested tip written next to it. It's there adding an extra 10% on your bill wether you like it or not. We tip without being told when the service is good and don't appreciate restaurants sneaking it in there.
For someone who doesn't know and just thinks it's a sales tax they would leave another tip after paying, therefore tipping twice.

The waitress after a discussion removed the line from the bill and we tipped accordingly.

Our meal was 2 bottled waters at 15 pesos each, a Pizza Romeo (Tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Parm ham, Rocket salad and Cherry tomatoes) at 150 pesos and a Mexicana ( Tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, onion, Jalepeno chili and Pepperoni) at 120 pesos and 2 Expressos at 25 pesos each. Total bill 350 pesos.

My Romeo pizza was a great thin crusted pizza (only way a pizza should be) generously topped with fresh tasty ingredients and it was superbe.

I could have seen myself going back again here to try some of the amazing looking pasta that kept going past us.

We ate here three times while in Playa. Our new favorite Italian place. Four cheese gnocchis are superb! We had the Caprese salad all three times...lots of cheese & basil. They serve Italian bread with olive oil to start while waiting for the chef to prepare your meal. The pizza is thin crust and wonderful. The last time we tried the seafood pasta which was cooked to order...fresh & plentiful. The house wine was nice as well. Prices are from 90 - 175 pesos which is very reasonable for the quality of the food. We highly recommend!

Romeo's is away from the touristy area around 5th Ave and well worth a little detour. The pizza is excellent as are the pastas, salads and, my husband's favorite, the molten lava cake. They had an excellent Prosecco, which was also offered by the glass, which was a nice option. The service was charming, knowledgeable and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food excellent. Definitely among the best Italian restaurants in Playa.
