“Takes the best care of you in Playa”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

We took Yucatrek's Chichen Itza full day tour, and thanks to Mitch it was one of the most enjoyable and enlightening experiences of our trip. We took in the ruins, cenote, Valladolid, and had the best meal at the Hacienda Selva (?) (which went far beyond the meals provided with most other such tours). The transportation was comfortable, air-conditioned and prompt. Mitch took care of plenty of refreshments, and was a wealth of knowledge on all things Playa, Mexican history and culture.

“excellent tour”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

We did the small group tour to Chichen Itza. They met us as promised at the ferry pier from Cozumel. We were on a comfortable air-conditioned van-mini-bus with maybe 9 people total. We drove to Chcichen Itza and had an amazingly knowledgable guide who had an ipad with all kinds of photos and drawing to give us a better understanding of the histrory and culture of the Mayans who lived at Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is of coirse amazing, beautifully restored and well -kept. After Chichen Itza we went to swim in an underground cenote, which was relaly cool. Then we had an authentic mexican buffet lunch at a hacienda which was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. Then on to Vallodalid for a stop at the central square for some shopping and exploring. The staff and guides were all great and very friendly, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them.

“A wonderful day away from the Royal Playa del Carmen”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

We had a WONDERFUL tour with Eder and Jose to Tulum. Eder was a true professional and was extremely accommodating and provided some great education about the geography, history and culture of the area.

I was a little disappointed in our first Cenote, the Grand Cenote, as it felt VERY touristy. It was mobbed with people and was hard to get around with out getting a fin in the face. I was also disappointed as a number of people were smoking in the Cenote.

The ruins were very interesting and Eder did a nice job taking us around.

The Tulum Beach was AMAZING and we could have spent the whole day there. Lunch was the best we had all week while in Playa.

THANK YOU THANK YOU EDER AND YUKA TREKS!
