This has literally been the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The Banyan Tree Mayakoba is incredibly beautiful & breathtaking. From the views, all the services provided, all the beautiful people that work there. They made sure everything was seamless & very very easy. They take pride in being the best & at the same time making sure to cater to you and your needs without a hiccup. It's really impressive, & such an amazing experience.

Magical since you enter. The villas are just perfect and the ambiance is ideal for a relaxing time.
Spending here some time before going back to our home, we got to do almost everything the hotel has to offer. We went bike riding in the nature trail, had a couple massage, tapas on the boat around the lagoon canals, dinner at Cello and at Saffron. Magical and wonderful experience all around.

This was our second stay at Banyan Tree. We’ve done quite a bit of traveling and the staff here is the best we’ve ever encountered. The food at all the restaurants was delicious and the resort grounds and accommodations were immaculate. The only downside was the seaweed at the beach. Nothing you can do about Mother Nature though. They work hard to keep the beach clean and the water was clear for the most part during our stay. It seemed like the sargasso invasion has finally ended. My only real complaint is that the barriers that have been installed to protect the beach from the seaweed are very unsightly and destroy the picturesque views. They run the length of the entire coast and so there’s no avoiding them. We spent most of our time at the pool. Other than that, our stay was amazing. They double upgraded us from a bliss pool villa to a 2 bedroom suite! We will definitely be returning ASAP.
