Rolandi just opened their new-larger restaurant in Paseo del Carmen. The place is much larger, with the same menu as before, with good quality and a nice wine selection (not impressive but petty good). On the plus side, they still use Riedel wine glasses, the paper placemats are gone (welcome new, nicer plastic mats) and decor is nicer.
On the downside, the place is barely a week old, so a/c is till not up to par (they have several fans all over the place and you finish your meal smelling as if you were the one working the pizza ovens) and red wines are still served at room temperature, which in Playa is not exactly the best temperature for reds.
Still a 'back to basics' and familiar place.
