“STOP AND SMELL THE COFFEE...SO GOOD”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014

This was the best coffee and Chocolate cafe ever. I'm a true die heart fan of Starbucks I drink one almost every day...however..to me Ah Cacao Chocolate Cafe beat Starbucks hands down. You must try this place if you are a coffee lover. The Mexican chocolate was also great. Sit outside the cafe and relax.

“Best dessert in playa del carmen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2014

This is actually not so much a restaurant as a coffee shop with awesome coffee and chocolate treats. We ended up eating dessert here for our last 3 nights in playa del carmen. We tried some sort of chocolate pastry, chocolate mousse and cafe mocha (hot and frozen) and the cafe latte (hot and frozen). After a big meal in PDC we found this to be a nice walk and then it was definitely a good idea to walk off our Ah Cacao chocolate treats afterward. We stayed around calle 6 so the walk from constituyentes and 5th was almost enough to walk off a tenth of the calories, but it was worth it. The service was great, the view was great, and the treats were fantastic! Make sure to give it a try when you're there!

“Fantastic Little Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2014

The reviews this place gets on Trip Advisor are well deserved. The prices are excellent, the coffee is fantastic and the food is good. There are seven or eight tables with umbrellas on an outdoor patio adjacent to Constituyentes. You can order yourself at the counter, or the wait staff will serve you. Lots of their coffee and chocolate products are packaged for sale as well.

Both of my visits consisted of a grande latte and chocolate croissant, which came to a very reasonable total of 63 pesos. Not bad at all.

I wouldn't drive from out of town just to grab a coffee, but if you are anywhere along 5th Avendia, it is worth the short walk. Well done all round.

chocolate they will add anything you want ,we had 1 drink and moved on to look along 5th ave.
Its a good place for taxi's to drop of and pick up, before we got the taxi we had to pop in for
1 more drink.
