Everything was exquisite from the first day of arrival to the last day. This was our first visit to Mexico and it was awesome. This hotel is secretly tuck away on 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen where all the happens are (shopping, eateries, beaches...). Although this hotel is a small boutique, all the staff members are very personable from the ladies and men at the front desk to the ladies who made authentic mexican breakfast on the roof top for us every morning. Our room was clean and modern overlooking the secluded pool area. The bed was soft and comfortable. Although we did a lot of outside activities, it was great to watch movies on a flat screen TV when were in our lovely room. Little things like staff going out their way in ordering and delivering our late night food cravings, or making bag lunches for our all day tour. My husband and I believe all these things sets Hotel Casa Ticul apart from other hotels and resorts. It is definitely unique and one of a kind. Thank you Casa Ticul for making our first experience in Mexico amazing and rememberable. We look forward to our next visit in the near future.

The details from the moment you stay with nosotroses so special to begin your vacation memories.

The intention is to make the guest feel at home away from home.

Wonderful experience, best place I have stayed in Playa. Staff is helpful and sweet and rooms are comphy and immaculately clean. the free rooftop breakfast is a real treat. I will return to this little boutique gem on my next visit. It's quiet and spacious. The restaurant and their staff is great too. The staff recognized it was my birthday and hooked up a cake, candle in all. Seriously we loved our stay at Hotel Casa Ticul. Check out there facebook too

Room Tip: If you take the ADO bus from the airport you might want to take a taxi from the station, it's a hike

The hotel is located at the end of the pedestrian area of the 5th av. So it's not to crowded and noisy around. You can find very good restaurant nearby. The place is modern, clean, very well equipped and the beads are very confortable. there's a very nice terrace on the top where they serve breakfast. Highly recommended.

Is true that the hotel still enjoys being in an area where our guests can walk to a delicious restaurant but did not feel in the center of the city.

Me and my wife started our trip in playa del carmen. We came to Casa Ticul regard to the good recomendation we have seen at tripadvisor. We were not disspointing t all, vice versa, it was realy nice and clean rooms. The stuff smiling to you all the time. The location is great and room cleaning as well. One point that wasn't good enough is the breakfast, it's realy poor. Except of this it's a very recomended hotel to stay. We stayed for 5 nights, w'll be back for sure.

Barbara at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly with many great restaurant suggestions. She is great!

Our room was comfortable and modern. The shower was nice with a big overhead rain showerhead. The bathroom also had a small window which I like as it makes it less stuffy.

The best thing about this hotel is how great it smells. I know that sounds weird, but a lot of hotel rooms in the area seem to reek of chemical cleaners. This place smelled great (though very strongly) and natural like essential oils at a spa – not some scented cleaner. I loved it and it really stood out to me as being different from other places I have stayed.

They also have great body products. I normally do not use hotel shampoo or conditioner because my hair is so damaged, but I could not resist using this stuff made from local honey. It smells delicious and felt like it was doing my hair some good. Honestly they should bottle the stuff and do a little retail – I would have bought a big bottle.

The Hotel is right on 5th Avenue, but in a relatively quiet part. On Friday night we did hear music from a club, but it wasn’t too loud and didn't bother us and we didn’t hear it on any other weekday or weekend evening. It’s very conveniently located close to three beach clubs.
