Outstanding vacation for my family of four (2 adults, 2 kids - 2yr and 4 yr).
Pros: Gorgeous, clean, well-maintained property and rooms, unbelievable service (find the ever-smiling Victor Perez out by the pool and he will keep you well fed and hydrated all day long!), exquisite food particularly at El Alebrije ...seriously delicious, many free activities on the resort (definite plus if you want to stay on resort the whole week), huge pool areas with plenty of chairs/umbrellas and easy access to food/drink
Cons: Portobello (Italian restaurant) is adults only. Remembering my pre-children days, I can completely appreciate why the restaurant is age-restricted, but it would be nice if the restaurant had one night or early hours when families could dine. Kotori wasn't especially great, but I had no expectation of outstanding Asian cuisine at a Mexican resort so I am fine with what it was. Pedicure at the Spa was really terrible and therefore, I didn't try any other spa services.More
