the place is very nice, seat outside if the weather permits, so you can get more out of it. a little disappointed with the service but wasnt bad. the food was reallyreally good. get the filled mushrooms and the lasagna. if you like pizza, this place has great pizza. it might be a little overpriced but well worth it.

At first a bit worried. The place was empty. We were the only customers outnumberd by staff 20 to 2. We were sat at a table in the corner which made it feel even more deserted. A look at the menu and was a bit taken back with the prices. Kinda high we thought. Out waiter, Daniel, greeted us with a smile. I won't drag out the review. We got the fettuccine and a margarita pizza. Ended up having 4 glasses of delicious Mexican Cabernet. The food was excellent, Daniels service was great, super friendly and professional. He gave us advice on things to do in the city. The rest if the staff that came to our table were also great. Even the manager, Rubin, came over introduced himself and thanked us. Awesome place!! Muchas Gracias Daniel por estupendo tiempo!!! Oh, and in the end for all that food and wine it was only $940 pesos. Well worth it.

This was the downtown location - the location was excellent - on a plaza and very nice and relaxing. Service was good, but the food quality and quantity for the price, was ridiculous. I paid 200pesos for 6 pieces of ravioli. Taste was ok - but as I mentioned in the title - I've been living in Mexico 1 year and this takes the cake hands down, for the biggest rip off.

La Tratto opened an new location in the downtown area (Calle 60 & 55) and all I can say is, they should close it! The food is not even close to the food at the main location on Prolongacion Montejo and the service is the worse of any restaurant I have been in during the past 13 years of living here! Yes, even worse than Hennssey's on Montejo - it is BAD!).

We ate there last week for dinner and a very good friend of mine ate there this week for lunch and we both had the same bad experience. The food is 2nd rate at best (and they do not have the 'specials' like their main location) and the servers need to find another job - maybe parking cars!

Just don't go to the 'centro' location and expect it to be the quality of the main Montejo location or any of the other restaurant's owned by the same people. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

As an Italian, I was surprised by the excellent reviews of this restaurant. At my table, we tried pizza Margherita, pizza 4 formaggi and a pasta: although everything was OK and the staff very nice, we found the whole experience pretty average, and food is a bit overprice.
