This is a great place in the heart of Mereda. Nothing fancy but more than adequate for ones needs. Clean, spacious, friendly and exceptional value. Five minutes to Centro. Could walk to just about everywhere although North Mereda was a wee hike. Quiet, safe neighbourhood of Mayan character was pleasantly pleasing. A friendly neighbour even helped me find the place. Be sure to check out a few of the the neighhood bars. Outdoor pool was barely used making it great for a cooling late afternoon splash. Breakfast was skant but more than adequate for my coffee, toast and/or cereal in the morning habit. The patio on the 2nd floor was a special private place for reading and snoozing.

Wake up to the cooing of doves and breakfast with the quiet cawing of parrots. You don't find that atmosphere in many urban places.

All the best Alan, keep up the good work.

Room tip: The upstair rooms are smaller but nicer.

This small hotel was a great find and great value. In centro, but in a quiet area, with large rooms (2 beds), ample storage and closets, a bathroom with a bath (although we never used the bath), a/c, a pool, and a light self-serve breakfast included, for under $30. Can't beat that! Also good wifi, clean and with parking. We ended up staying 3 nights and Alan, the owner was very accomodating and helpful with info about Mérida.

We highly recommend this hotel as a great base for discovering the city and the area.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the back, away from the street.

Good Price, Family style building, pool, small parking (just few place, you may have to park in the street). Nice big room, clean (avoid room 3), simply but nicely decorated. Nice owner who speaks english. Jacuzzi (i did not use it, may work or not) and a BATH TUB (Rare in Mexico), Good internet connection

Only concern, neighborhood not too fancy (but hard to say when you arrive at night), but i think it is an ok area and maybe some walking to the center (less than 5 minutes by car with the red lights). I was told 10 minutes by foot.
Family business so not always someone at the desk to help...but very quiet and home like!

Room tip: Room 3 does not have nice furniture...I hope they will upgrade it soon...overwise very nice rooms

I had a wonderful experience. The Inn is beautiful, quaint and quiet Yet, it is very central and near to eveything...so you can just walk everywhere..which is great.. The rooms are clean and the whole place gives you a very "Mexico" feel. The breakfast on the patio is a very nice place to experience the morning warmth of Merida. The service is courteous and we were very well taken care of. The owner and his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are in Merida, this is the only place to stay.

A good place to stay in a tranquil quiet part of Merida but on close walking distance to the center. Owned by a friendly English gentleman. We had a big room with 2 double beds, zircon, bathroom and a small balcony overlooking the pool. A basic breakfast (toast with jam, coffee/tea and/or cornflakes) is included and additional items (fruit, eggs) can be bought. You are also allowed to use the kitchen. Drinking water is available and free wifi.
