If this is the Starbucks on Paseo Montego then it's awesome. One the best Starbucks on the planet. Mainly because of the gorgeous building they placed it in. Not a typical Starbucks look by any means. Of course the menu is pretty much the same. It's all about the gorgeous building for me.
Super clean bathrooms as well.

Good seats outside. Watch the traffic go by. Sit inside if you prefer. Breakfast paninis are tasty with chipotle.

I have to admit, I have visited this Starbucks several times but for only one reason. My favorite coffee place nearby has closed and nothing else in the neighborhood. But with so many places serving good coffee which is grown in Mexico, why does anyone go here. Name recognition and star power, I suppose.
First, I drink what is called ¨cafe Americano¨ in Mexico. In most places, serving, the real thing, it is brewed by the cup, as ordered. In Starbucks, it is mass produced in large coffee makers. Then, while others offer their coffee in a real cup Starbucks gives you the pleasure of drinking from a paper (or cardboard) cup. Also, table service at all others I frequent--at Starbucks, the pleasure of waiting in line to get your own coffee. For all this, you pay more at Starbucks!
So, I will leave the Starbucks to their loyal fans and enjoy a good coffee , served in a real cup at my table, at Café Punta del Cielo or Italian Coffee.

Check out this place on the Paseo de Montejo. Converted from one of the mansions along this street making it one of the most expensive Starbucks properties in the world. Great to sit outside under the shade.
