Wonderful B&B filled with warmth, providing a lovely family style breakfast, charming rooms, inviting patio & pool. Ellyne & Wilberth on the spot providing inside info on shopping & dining in Merida...Located close to Colonial Santiago, which I loved and only two blocks from the main plaza..

Modern, clean, comfortable. Excellent location, close to charming Santiago Park and market, and a pleasant walk to everything downtown. Beautiful pool and garden, and they provided a secure parking space for our car. The cascading waterfall in my shower was a real treat!

Exceeded all expectations. Convenient, confortable, safe. Would repeat without hesitation. The owners go out of their way to provide 100% of anything one could desire in accommodations in addition to a bountiful and delicious breakfast.

Room Tip: All four rooms are equally furnished with two at each end of the pool area.

Amazing accommodation, brilliant breakfast, and super service. The rooms are spacious, spotless and have all mod cons - hair dryer, iron, flat screen tv, safe, wi-fi, desk, huge beds, good lighting and pool towels. Each of the rooms have great showers with glass walls (noone else can see!) that look over a waterfall.

Ellyne, the owner, could not have done more for us - recommending restaurants, booking taxis, making us rum-based fruit drinks in the afternoon etc. Cold drinks and snacks are freely available to guests.

Cascadas is a safe and pleasant 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The local square has great dancing one night a week and you can get great cheap eats there.

We spent three great weeks travelling around the Yucatan. The Mayan sites are amazing and those less visited are well worth the hiring of a car - to be the only visitors at a huge Mayan temple is mind-blowing. We found the whole of the Yucatan incredibly welcoming and safe. The issues that effect other parts of Mexico are not the case here and we would definitely recommend a visit

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of the city center. The four rooms around the pool are really nice, with showers that have glass walls towards the waterfall that gives the hotel its name; the pool itself is also great, palm trees and stones all around, and Ellyne, the owner, makes you feel right at home - plus she has a good suggestion for everything, be it a good restaurant, a trip to Uxmal... Oh and of course there's her five-star-breakfast with everything you could wish for and then some

There are only 4 rooms, each overlooking the refreshing pool. The rooms are pleasant but the highlight is the shower. They have glass walls on two side looking out into a rock-walled area (not visible to anyone else!). With the sunlight streaming in I felt as though I was showering in a waterfall.

The hostess was attentive and offered good advice on where to find rental cars, best shopping, etc.
