I reserve this hotel because looks like a secret place in Merida's downtown and it is true! is only eight blocks from the main square which is a walking distance, in the middle of the walk we found a nice park named Santiago, full of color, music and dancers. Inside the hotel Ifeel very comfortable and secure, the Manager Louis help us the get the right directions to know the city and choose the best places to dinner, he cook for us the first day and make us feel at home. the place is very recommendable enjoy it.

Room Tip: We choose a lovely courtyard Junior Suite in front of the fountain.

Old colonial home renovated with 7 rooms. Very private, comfortable and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and willing to assist in any way. We loved its uniqueness. It's position was great for walking to el centro and restaurants. Very Merida

Room Tip: We had a large room on second floor. Opened to pool and courtyard. Was great for coffee in the morni...

This charming hotel was a delightful find! A beautifully restored colonial home with high ceilinged rooms overlooking either a lush delightful interior courtyard or the poolside lush gardens & tranquil outdoor dining area. Bathrooms were modern & had design!
The staff were exceedingly friendly & attentive, greeting us as if we were personal guests. Luis, the manager served us the most delicious breakfasts of local specialties. Quite the chef! He was so helpful in acquiring a rental car & guiding us to places of interest.
We found the hotel to be conveniently located close to Merida's bustling town centre & yet not far from airport.
Definitely would highly recommend this one......don't pass up the opportunity to visit.

Staying here did not feel like staying at a hotel at all, more like staying at your own private house with a butler and chef. It's very private, beautiful, and romantic. Nice combination of historic/colonial styles with modern amenities and contemporary features (modern bedroom and bathrooms). Very friendly staff. Amazing chef, best food in Merida!!

This hotel is very beautiful! The historic house was restored beautifully. Rooms are huge and bathrooms are lovely and modern. The gardens are very green and flourishing. Cute little geckos roam the area and on occasion large dragons (iguanas)! Service is really great and staff are extremely friendly. Food was amazing and I definitely insist that you try it. Near towns heart with plenty to do. This place was lovely and made me feel at home. Would absolutely recommend.

the sheer beauty of the hacienda is complemented by its amazing history dating back to the 1700's! the Rooms Are Amazing! And Massive! it is so exciting just to walk around and imagine what it would be like to grow up calling the hacienda home. its simply majestic. the proximity to the zocalo is perfect. However, the thing that impressed us the most, hands down, is the hospitality provided by Luis and Rolando! they are truly two of the most incredible people i have ever met. upon arrival we were greeted with their smiles and refreshments! all day and night they make you feel so at home and taken care of! they went above and beyond preparing meals and beverages for us! as a vet of the restaurant industry and a major foodie I Promise You, LUIS IS THE BEST CHEF IN MERIDA, we went to all the places people recommended and nothing even compared to the cooking of luis. sitting around the massive dining table for dinner was by far the best dinner experience we had our whole trip through the yucatan. we would all gather for breakfast prepared for us each morning at the same table, which is open to the beautiful atrium, and listen to the birds. the staff is so full of information, we had two incredible days with our guide rudalpho, who took us to do some very off the grid excursions that will be remembered forever. ask luis for his info. I will definitely be coming back to villa merida. great for taking over the whole hacienda with 10-20 people! go for dia de los muertos, it was awesome!

We stayed at this little oasis for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it! It's very close to the town centre and not far from the airport, yet once you close the door behind you, you simply leave the world outside! Luis, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful - simply a lovely man with a wealth of information on Yucatan! He suggested Raul to us, a really knowledgeable tour guide & driver who took us to some amazing Mayan sites in the area & on a separate trip to Chichen Itza!
