Casa Ana is a wonderful spot to base your Merida adventures from. Ana and Mariana were very welcoming hosts and a relief from previous impersonal accommodation. The room was very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfasts were simple yet tasty and the $12 (USD) dinner in house was increadible, I definately reccommend it. Gay and lesbian friendly too which was also a nice change from previous places.

Lovely, airy rooms that are well furnished with hammocks (as well as beds!). The courtyard is large, with plenty of seating and the people who run the place are friendly and helpful.

Breakfasts are basic (bread, jam, fruit, tea and coffee) but do the job.

We actually got really sick from eating at El Trapiche in Merida, so spent more time than usual at the b&b. We can't think of a nicer place to get sick in! The rooms were bright and the staff helped ease our pain.

The only down point is it's a 10 or 15min walk from the centre (the distance isn't the problem, it's all the bloody traffic to avoid!). Not a big problem, and I'd stay there again.

Casa Ana is a lovely B&B with a nice garden with a small pool. The owner Ana speaks fluently English and is very kind and helpful. I can definitely recommend this B&B!

We are very happy we found Casa Ana. It offered all we needed. Quiet rooms, good location close to main plaza, Tour facilities and a good host, Donna Ana. We just we could have stayed a little longer. There is even a swimming pool which was a surprise.

This was a wonderful, inexpensive place to stay. I loved the courtyard - but wear bug-repellent. Ana is friendly and helpful, the place is not far from the centro and easy to get to and from. The only complaint I have is that the beds were small for two people and quite hard. Otherwise, great. I would stay there again.

We spend 4 nights in Casa Ana and found it a very pleasent place to discouver Merida. Comfortable and nicely decorated room, beautiful garden (nice siesta's) and only a 10 minutes walk from the center. Simple, but good restaurant round the corner. No parking, but is was no problem to park the car in the street.
The breakfast table is the social meeting point whith other guests. Anna and Mariana are good hosts. Good value for money.
