this is where we first learned about this tree and its medicinal virtues, and of course excellent taste. The chaya coktail that we were introduced to by our very friendly waiter, was a very nice discovery. It fresh very tasty and pleasant to drink in any of its three variations, non-alcoholic, with vodka or with tequila. Of course there were meals too. Poc chuc, a marinated pork that is extremely tender and tasty. The pork brochettes are just as tasty and enjoyable. The staff is warm, friendly and very helpful in passing on their knowledge even with the language barrier of non-spanish speaking visitors.
